Five "kidnapped" children returned to the country from the US in deportation flight

The Interior Ministry said that the five children who returned on Wednesday were expected on September 12, when another deportation flight with four children that Venezuela say were “kidnapped” in the USA arrived in the US

The Ministry of Interior, Justice and Peace said that five “kidnapped” children in the United States returned on Wednesday 17 since that country, along with another 180 Venezuelan migrants who were deported by US authorities.

A girl and four children were received at Maiquetía International Airport, after last week others returned Four minors that were under the US child welfare system in host houses.

“It should be noted that these infants were expected since last Friday, September 12 by their parents, who expressed their deep gratitude to President Nicolás Maduro for facilitating this return,” said the ministry in A publication.

With this, according to data provided by Camila Fabri, president of the Mission Return to the Homeland, another 55 Venezuelan children and adolescents would be in the hands of the US system and waiting for their return.

“I want to ask Melania Trump to continue, please, sending us to children, to return us to all children, please, that she continues to intercede to make this miracle possible,” said the Vice Minister of International Communication.

On the deportation flight on Wednesday, 16 women and 164 men also arrived. “A multidisciplinary team composed of representatives of the different security bodies of the Venezuelan State offered comprehensive medical care to this new group of nationals,” said the ministerial office.
