Turbulence left at least five people injured on a United Airlines flight that departed from Rio de Janeiro and arrived this morning (19) in Houston, in the United States. According to the airline, two passengers and three crew members suffered minor injuries.
The injured were rescued by a medical team upon arrival at George Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston and taken to a local hospital.
According to United Airlines, Flight 128 experienced “unexpected turbulence en route to Houston”. “We thank our crew for their efforts to ensure the safety of employees and customers,” says the statement released by the airline.
