The Minister of Tourism, David Collado, and the governor of Puerto Rico, Jennifer González, announced a promising “multidestine” agreement between both Caribbean nations on Thursday.
The Union was announced in the framework of the celebration of the International Tourism Fair, Fitur 2025, where a brushstroke of the agreement, tourist and commercial, which will be formalized in February.

He recalled that the Caribbean nation has opened the doors to the Dominicans for more than 50 years, and in returning of that gratitude promised to strengthen those “brotherhood.”
“We are going to bet on the multidestine between Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic, in an unprecedented alliance in history,” the official revealed.
On her side, the governor of Puerto Rico thanked the President of the Republic, Luis Abinader, for her support for that country.
“In the next month of February we will formalize, an agreement so that for the first time, multiple destinations options, I am very grateful to President Luis Abinader, the Dominicans nourish the culture of Puerto Rico,” González said in the event.
