Nautical caravan 2026 will take place on February 14 and 15
Since last night, starting at 8:00 p.m. at the Arachanes Fishing Club Headquarters in Rivera Park, registrations began to be received to participate in the 2026 Nautical Caravan.
Along with the journey through the waters of the Río Negro, a fishing contest will be held for which there are already many important prizes.
Those who wish to participate and do not have a boat may also register to participate in the sport fishing contest with return.
“February 14 and 15, 2026, now when the carnival starts, we have an activity with the Arachanes Fishing Club that we are going to concentrate in Paso de Pereira” advertisement Christian Tucce.
“It will consist of a Nautical Caravan that will take place during the two days. Registration will cost $700 per person, which means that, if 3 people are going to sail on a boat, they would have to pay $700 each” remarked the member of the organization.
With the payment of this sum, participants will have access to dinner on Saturday night and breakfast on Sunday morning. “We believe that it is an affordable cost. The idea is that with registration we can cover logistical expenses and acquire the prizes for the fishing contest that will be held during that weekend, sport fishing, fishing with return” he emphasized.
“The activity will begin on Saturday the 14th at 7 in the morning in Paso de Pereira” reported. “Those who want to participate must arrive in their vehicle and bring their own boat. Once it leaves, we will sail from Paso Pereira to El Cordobés, all during daylight hours, from the morning to the afternoon. At around 5 p.m. we will return to Paso de Pereira where the central camp will be” commented to THE DIARY PROFESSIONAL.
All participants will camp together in the same place as a way to have better control of all those who will be part of the activity. “The idea is to spend a different night where there will be a trick championship, some guitar playing, someone who is encouraged to sing and wants to join in will be able to do so. We want to spend a different weekend, with the family.” Tucce remarked.
“On Sunday we will start a while before we have time to return to our homes with sunlight” express. “We are going to start at 6 in the morning towards Paso del Minuano with the same fishing modality with return” he added.
There will be prosecutors who will be in charge of measuring the captured specimens. The organization of the Nautical Caravan urges participants not to sail ahead of the leading prosecutor or to sail behind the last prosecutor. “That is to have better control” said.
“Once the activity in Paso de Pereira ends at approximately 4 in the afternoon, we will do the respective awards ceremony.” he stated.
REGISTRATIONS WERE RECEIVED SINCE LAST NIGHT
“Starting this Tuesday night we began receiving registrations at the Arachanes Fishing Club, which has its headquarters in Rivera Park, in front of where the old children’s games were.” illustrated.
“From hour 20 we begin to receive registrations, a period that will last until next Wednesday, February 11” he emphasized. “We decided that the deadline would be that because we are already going to be around the date of the activity. We need to know how many participants are going to attend to plan the entire logistical part” argued Christian Tucce.
A FAMILY PROPOSAL
“It is an activity for the whole family” he emphasized. “Even those who do not own a boat and want to participate in this activity during that weekend will be able to do so” he assured. “Suddenly they want to go fishing and camp. That’s why we are going to leave a prosecutor in the camp, who will be in Paso de Pereira, so that all those who want to register can fish on the coast of the River and inspect their pieces with the person who will stay in the camp” express.
This opens the possibilities of participation in this proposal to all members of the family.
NAVIGABILITY CONDITIONS
“We depend on how the Río Negro is on those days” said Christian Tucce.
“Yes, I haven’t noticed how high it is, I think that with a lot of water it shouldn’t be.” said. “That’s why the participants already have to think about a not very large boat so as not to have a lot of work when reaching a waterfall or a sandbank that they sometimes encounter” he warned.
“At this time of year, the River always presents itself with this characteristic” stated the member of the Arachanes Fishing Club.
