Fisherman makes macrabo discovery, finds bones inside a mangrove swamp

A fisherman made a macabre discovery on the afternoon of this Saturday, February 4, in the area of ​​Punta Chame, in the province of Panama Oeste.

The man, who is dedicated to artisanal fishing, found a human skeleton in the mangrove area near the main road to the Punta Chame corregimiento.

The fisherman was at work and when he was going to pick up a trammel net he made the discovery.

The National Police and personnel from the Public Ministry appeared at the scene and began the first investigations.

The first reports indicate that the remains could be of a woman.
