The National Police confirmed that the body found in the area of the Port of Asunción belongs to Francisco Orue Portillo, a fisherman from Areguá.
According to the other fisherman who was with the victim at the scene, the man’s hook would have gotten stuck in the water so he jumped into the river to unhook it, but he couldn’t get out anymore.

The body search procedure was in charge of Agents of the Paraguayan Navy.
Once the body is found he was handed over to his relatives.
