During the weekend Propeep was in the municipalities of Navarrete and Puñal bringing services to their communities
The Directorate of Strategic and Special Projects of the Presidency (Propeep) took this weekend the “First You” social inclusion day to sectors of Santiago, where more than 6 thousand people in conditions of poverty and vulnerability, received the services and aid, which through this program the Government offers to the most people in need.
This Sunday more than three thousand people from the community were treated at the Professor Guayabal Mercedes de León Polytechnicities of the Puñal municipality, who attended to manage and receive SSenasa insurance, Supérate cards, medical assistance and technical training, among other services.
While on Saturday “First You” served almost 4 thousand residents of sectors of Navarrete, who received the same benefits at the José María Imbert educational center, in that municipality.
Leading the 40th and 41st inclusion days, which Propeep is carrying out this year, Minister Neney Cabrera highlighted that 120,000 Dominicans have already been positively impacted with “First You”, whose objective is to solve the needs of the most dispossessed communities. and needy in the country.
The Propeep minister recalled that every day the National Health Service (SNS) offers prostate exams to men and mammograms to women, for a possible early detection of cancer.
But in addition, the official indicated that “First You” offers various services to older adults and provides assistance to pregnant women and children from zero to five years old, among other services.
Cabrera maintained that the aid offered in the social inclusion days is part of the Government’s effort and a clear sign that people come first and foremost for President Luis Abinader.

“First there are children, first there are young people, first there are women and first there are older adults. For President Abinader, you come first and that is why all the Government’s social actions are aimed at improving the quality of life of every Dominican man and woman,” he said.
The official was emphatic in affirming that wherever there is a Dominican in need of assistance, “First You” will be there, because the purpose of President Abinader is that everyone who needs help from the Government receives it in those days or through one of the programs implemented by Propeep throughout the national territory.
“The needs of the people do not stop, that is why President Abinader has told his officials that, regardless of the weather conditions, one must always be available to serve the citizens, said Cabrera, speaking under heavy rain, in the opening of the conference First You, held in Puñal.

Mrs. Vilma Altagracia Vásquez, 90 years old, one of the beneficiaries in Navarrete, expressed her satisfaction with the attention and help received during the conference, afterpoint out that» we had never seen this here and that is why we want President Luis Abinader to continue there.
Meanwhile, Mrs. Alba Luz Aquino, 70, who attended the event in Puñal, said that “We were waiting for this beautiful and humanitarian president who listens to our cries and needs.”
Mayor of Puñal highlights day
On his side, the mayor of de Puñal pondered the importance of “First You” for that demarcation, after pointing out that it is the first time since the municipality was founded, that this type of initiative reaches their communities.
