The Citizen Perception Plant of the University of the Republic presented its first projections at 8:45 p.m. this Sunday and, although in the first instance the “No” was installed in the first place with 49.4% and the “ Yes” was at 49.2%, minutes later the agency updated the information and gave 49.3% for both trends.
The “No” option has received the backing of blank votes, which are added to this option, while the “Yes” option receives neither blank nor invalid votes; the latter are not added to either of the two options.
First, TVCiudad reported that the percentage that had the “No” included the blank votes, but then that version was changed at 8:50 p.m., when they began to report that they were presenting the data separately: the “Yes” , “No” and blanks all independently.
