Within the framework of Perumin 37Intical, Calcesur brand and member of the Unit of Materials for the Construction and Mining of the Gloria Group, presented its mobile plant of lime grout production, developed in Peru as part of its process of technological and already operational modernization in important mining units of Peru and Chile.
This pioneer solution, the first of its kind in Latin America, has been designed by the Calcesur technical team to bring, optimize and increase the production of lime grout directly to the point of consumption in the processing of minerals and water treatment. Its “Plug & Slake” system is automated, transportable and neutral carbon, allowing logistics times, reduce operating costs and minimize environmental risks.
The heart of the plant is a two -chamber reactor that ensures a controlled leaflet at temperatures of 70 to 75 ° C with high percentages of solids in the first phase, and a dilution adjusted in the second, according to the requirements of the process. This innovation not only improves metallurgical results, but also strengthens the sustainability of operations, optimizing the consumption of lime and replacing multiple fixed facilities by a single mobile unit.
Currently, five mobile plants already operate: three in Peru and two in Chile through our affiliated company Yura Chile, consolidating a regional proposal based on innovation, sustainability and technical transfer between Operations of the Glory Group.
“From Peru, we promote an unprecedented solution in the region, which today not only demonstrates concrete results in efficiency and sustainability, but is also being adopted in other countries,” said Bruno Belfiore, general manager of Calcesur.
During Perumin 37, attendees can know the mobile plant closely in the area of machinery II-Stand M-12, where a live demonstration of its operation will be carried out.
With this presentation, Intical reaffirms its leadership in high impact solutions for modern mining and positions Peru as the origin of a technology that marks a before and after in the operational efficiency of the Latin American mining sector.
