This Tuesday the First Lady of Colombia, Verónica Alcocer García, was received at the Miraflores Palace by the first combatant, Cilia Flores.
This first official visit of Alcocer to the country strengthens and consolidates relations between Colombia and Venezuela, and strengthens the ties of cooperation and complementarity between sister nations, indicates a Press release.
The Josefa Camejo room was the scene of the pleasant meeting, in which the Executive Vice President, Delcy Rodríguez, the Minister for Women and Gender Equality, Diva Guzmán, and the Minister for Culture, Ernesto Villegas, were also present.
After the meeting, Alcocer’s busy schedule in the country continued with a visit to the National Center for Social Action for Music, where she was received by a musical display with the Venezuelan Symphony Orchestra.
Earlier this Tuesday, upon her arrival in the country, the first lady of Colombia was received by the Minister for Women and Gender Equality, Diva Guzmán.
The visit of the first lady of Colombia to Venezuela will serve to advance within the framework of bilateral diplomatic relations and regional integration in different areas.
