The mayor of Purén, Jorge Rivera, and the presidential delegate of Malleco, Andrea Parra, delivered the first emergency housing in the commune as part of the reconstruction process of La Araucanía, one of the regions most affected by the forest fires.
The house was handed over to the family of Juana Millapi, who lost her house in the flames along with a winery and a greenhouse where the products she sells were found.

“The truth is that for us it has been a joy at such a difficult time to be able to have installed the first emergency housing with this speed and to continue in the coming days in Purén building all the houses that the Government today makes available to the public, while we advance in the reconstruction plan”, concluded
