Members of the Alliance of Peoples for the Social Justice of Oaxaca, who maintain a plant in the first picture of Mexico City to denounce impunity and abuse perpetrated in the government of Solomon Jara, met with the president of the National Commission of Human Rights (CNDH), Rosario Piedra Ibarra, to present their cases.
Likewise, another group returned to Oaxaca for a meeting with personnel from the State Attorney General’s Office, in the company of representatives of the Ministry of the Interior.
As part of the agreements reached to initiate dialogue with authorities of the entity, protesters transferred their plant installed last Monday in the Plaza de la Constitución on the side of the Metropolitan Cathedral, and announced that as the works progress they will decide if they raise it .
Saúl López García, General Councilor of the Council for the Defense of the Rights of the People (CODEP), explained that in the CNDH the victims of violence presented their cases, which include repression and gender violence, and agreed that the commission will give timely to the demands of justice and provide accompaniment in those in which there are complaints presented to the Oaxaca Human Rights Ombudsman

Meanwhile, the members of the Alliance who attended the meeting in Oaxaca acknowledged that it was through the SG that the meeting with the State Prosecutor’s Office was achieved. They indicated that after these work tables they will make an assessment of the agreements to determine the actions to be followed.
