Valle Nuevo, Constanza.-forest firefighters of the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources they extinguished a forest fire in the Limoncito areanorthwest of Valle Nuevo National ParkConstanza municipality, in the La Vega province.
The authorities are investigating the causes to bring those allegedly responsible for the incident to justice.
The Forest Fire Control Directorate of the Ministry, together with volunteers from the community, worked to extinguish the fire.

The incident was detected from an observation tower in the Pajón Blanco area and was attributed to illegal agricultural activities.
