The Forum store in La Urbina registered a fire this Saturday morning, which was quickly controlled by firefighters
In the morning hours of this Saturday, June 27, the Forum store in La Urbina, Caracas, registered a fire on the roof of its structure, as reported on social networks. No casualties were reported in the incident.
The images show that the fire is in the upper part of the structure, located on the main avenue of La Urbina, which generates black smoke; which enters the surrounding apartments and causes respiratory distress. The firefighters arrived at the scene to control the flames and in less than 20 minutes, together with the store staff, managed to put them out.
After the incident, the Vice Minister for Risk Management and Civil Protection, M/G Carlos Pérez Ampueda, also reported in Twitter that the fire was generated in a “food structure” of the Forum and that the fire officials have already confined the flames for their “total extinction”.

The response of the firefighters was moderately fast because they were only two blocks from the place of the fire. For its part, the Sucre Municipality Police explained that the incident originated from the explosion of the local air conditioning.
When the fire broke out, detailed the security body, the protocols were initiated to evict the people who were present.

The action of the security forces in the fire that affected the Forum of La Urbina occurs after the Minister of the Interior and Justice, A/J Remigio Ceballos, will activate the National Risk Management System before the imminent start of the rainy season on May 1, as Inameh had said a few weeks ago. Although the issue of rainfall was discussed, the troops are attentive to any other eventuality that arises.
