Different fire units arrived Tuesday night to deal with a structural fire that had started in a bookstore in the 4 de Noviembre market, located in the city’s third ring road. Due to the emergency, the merchants arrived at the scene and decided to remove their products from the stores.
The fire was detected after 11:30 p.m. by passers-by who decided to notify the firefighters to put out the fire, which at times became ravenous. The flames were controlled on the ground floor, but continue on the first floor of the dining room sector, because it consumed a plastics store.
Alerted by the emergency, the Traders from the November 4 market came to try to save their merchandise. Some butchers managed to remove their machines, freezer and others saved their cell phone spare parts.
The cries of despair do not stop in the market. Vendors help with the suffocation efforts, but the efforts are almost in vain, because the fire took over the center of the place, to where it is difficult to reach even for the firefighters.
