Through social networks, Cuevas asked his counterparts in nearby town halls to support by sending water pipes to put out the fire.

According to the CDMX Secretary of the Interior, Martí Batres, security forces attended the site to attend to the emergency and no injuries were reported.

An hour after his first publication, Cuevas reported that the fire had been extinguished and thanked the Heroic Fire Department and mayors who sent water pipes and the General Directorate of Security and Civil Protection of the Cuauhtémoc mayor’s office.
So far it is unknown how the accident started.
