During this afternoon a fire is registered in the dependencies of the El Peral Psychiatric Hospital, in the commune of Puente Alto.
According to preliminary information, firefighters have already arrived at the scene to control the flames and so far no patients or injured personnel have been reported.

As stated CHV News, the Puente Alto Fire Department indicated that the flames “would have been caused by people who entered the disused sector of the hospital by force, as has happened in previous situations, preliminarily it would be a fire in the warehouse in a sector not intended for patient care”.
Carabineros are also in the place at the request of the Hospital staff as a result of “aggressions suffered by the people who entered to do the damage in the affected sector.”
