A raging fire was recorded in the afternoon of this Thursday, November 10, in Managua. The incident reduced to ashes ten sections of gunpowder sales, located in the Tiscapa sector.
Workers from the premises and members of the Fire Department are working to put out the fire, which according to its owners left considerable material and economic losses.

Injuries have also been reported unofficially. In videos on social networks, the detonations of the artifacts can be heard, while the flames burn everything in their path.
So far, the authorities have not reported the causes of the incident. For more than a decade, this sector of the capital has been assigned by the Managua Mayor’s Office so that gunpowder can be sold during the purest season and Christmas parties.
According to Commander Jaime Delgado, of the United Firefighters, they have managed to prevent the fire from spreading to a warehouse where a large amount of gunpowder is stored.

For its part, the Police maintain a security cordon from the Tiscapa overpass to prevent vehicles from passing through the affected area. So far, the fire has not been controlled.
According to reports from the Fire Department, November and December are the months in which the most fires are reported in the country, particularly in the Eastern market.
