A fire reached the sixth floor of the Navy Command building, on the Esplanada dos Ministérios, in Brasília, this Saturday morning (18).
Activated at 6am, the Fire Department of the Federal District, with the help of 30 soldiers, managed to control the flames in about five minutes. There were no casualties.
According to the corporation, with the heat, a window of the building was shattered, in addition, the fire reached some cabinets.
In a statement, the Navy Command said that the building was soon evacuated. “The expertise is already being carried out at the site of the incident and the other administrative measures will be taken”, says the document.
