Fire consumes part of a tanker truck in the southern area of ​​Santa Cruz

He tanker fire alerted residents of the southern area of ​​the capital of Santa Cruz, who called the firefighters to control the incident due to fear of an explosion.

The fire was reported after 8:30 this Saturday, November 16, in the vicinity of the eighth ring, on Miguel de Cervantes and Santos Dumont avenues, in the southern zone from the city of Santa Cruz.

Police firefighters arrived at the scene of the fire, using water and chemical foam ARF, managed to control the fire that covered the cabin part of the tanker, in addition to the tractor unit and chassis that were also affected.

Carlos Canaviri, from the Police Firefighters, confirmed that after 9:00 the fire was controlled, the same one that fortunately caused only material damage. “There are no injured people,” he stressed.
