Fire consumes a warehouse with 30 tons of tobacco in Pinar del Río

Osvaldo Santana, director of the Pinar del Río Tobacco Collection and Processing Company, assured that “the immediate support of the inhabitants of the area” prevented the fire from affecting nearby structures.

According to the official report, authorities from the Ministry of the Interior (MININT) are still investigating the causes of the incident.
