Fire at São Paulo nursing home leaves six dead

Government of Minas opens public consultation on highway concession

A fire that occurred in the early hours of Saturday (10) in a nursing home in São Paulo left six dead.

At 7:27 am, the Fire Department was called and directed 11 vehicles to the scene.

At 8:20 am, the corporation informed, in a message on Twitter, that the fire was extinguished and that there were six confirmed deaths. Five bodies were found in cadaveric rigidity and one was charred.

Two women who were injured in the fire were taken to the Sapopemba Emergency Room for smoke inhalation.

There is still no information about the cause of the fire.
