Fiorella Molinellileader of the Fuerza y Libertad Electoral Alliance, will officially announce his presidential candidacy this Saturday, January 17 at 10:00 in the morning. The event will take place during a press conference in the auditorium of the Hotel Presidente de Huancayoin the Junín region.
With this activity, Molinelli will begin a decentralized political agenda aimed at positioning small farmers and productive regions as axes of the national debate. From the central mountains, the candidate will seek to highlight the role of Junín as one of the main agricultural production areas in the country.
During his speech, Molinelli will point out that Peru’s food depends largely on the work of the countryside and rural producers, and that it is necessary to rethink the national development model with greater attention to the regions. “Peru is not fed from Lima, it is fed from the countryside,” is one of the ideas he will present in his message.
Meeting with farmers
As part of her visit to Junín, the candidate will hold a meeting with small farmers, producers and representatives of the agricultural sector. At this meeting, the main problems facing the Peruvian countryside will be addressed, including the lack of technical irrigation, limited technical assistance and difficulties in accessing markets under fair conditions.
As reported by his team, Molinelli will prioritize listening to the sector’s demands before detailing his government proposals. “The small farmer supports the country, but receives little support from the State,” he will advance.
Within the framework of the announcement of her candidacy, the representative of the Fuerza y Libertad Electoral Alliance will present the main guidelines of her agrarian agenda, which include the promotion of technical irrigation in productive regions, the implementation of permanent technical assistance and the promotion of markets and value chains for small producers.
