Fintech company Pomelo is a finalist at the Founders Games in Davos

the Latin American company of, was selected as one of six finalists from more than 3,400 start-ups from 140 countries around the world. For three months, the participants faced off in different rounds of competition before more than 250 global investors responsible for choosing the winners.

The Founders Games will take place during the week of the World Economic Forum, next Thursday, January 19 at 1:00 p.m. (GMT-3/5:00 p.m. CET) in Davos, Switzerland, and are organized for the thirteenth time by Webit Foundation with the aim of supporting innovative and fast growing companies.

In recent years, the ecosystem fintech it grew and continues to grow and is consolidating itself as a key player in responding to the needs of financial consumers in the region. In this context, and only a year and a half since its launch, Grapefruit has already received USD 60 million in investment from international funds, has operations in five markets: Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Mexico and Peru, and more than 90 clients throughout LATAM.
