This Tuesday (15), a holiday of the Proclamation of the Republic, bank branches will be closed throughout the country. The service can only be done online or through ATMs. This Monday (14), agencies will work at normal hours.
“As usual, [no dia do feriado] self-service areas will be available to customers, as well as digital and remote bank channels [internet e mobile banking]?? consumption accounts [água, energia, telefone, etc.] and the payment slips due on the day of the holiday can be paid, without surcharge, on the next business day”, said the Brazilian Federation of Banks (Febraban).
Post offices will be open today, but will not work on the holiday tomorrow.
In the state of São Paulo, hospitals maintain normal operation for urgent and emergency care, both in emergency rooms and in the hospitalization and surgical centers, this Monday and Tuesday.
The Pró-sangue Clínicas donation posts in Osasco, Mandaqui and Stella Maris will work normally today. Tomorrow, only the Clinics post will maintain service. The specialty medical clinics (AME), the Reference Center for the Elderly, the Paulista Institute of Geriatrics and Gerontology (IPGG) and the units of the Pharmacy Dose Certa will have normal hours today and will close tomorrow.
Specialized drug pharmacies at Hospital de Base, Votuporanga, Bauru, Mogi das Cruzes, Guarulhos, Campinas, Hospital João Paulo II, Maria Zélia, Presidente Prudente and Campinas Setembrino work this Monday and all units will be closed on the holiday.
Poupatempo stations across the state will be closed today and tomorrow. The units only reopen on Wednesday (16) with in-person service by prior appointment, which can be done free of charge on electronic platforms.

Transport
Today, the intercity bus lines managed by Empresa Metropolitana de Transportes Urbanos (EMTU) will follow Saturday’s timetable; and, on holiday, the schedule will be the equivalent of a Sunday.
At Companhia Paulista de Trens Metropolitanos (CPTM), train circulation will follow the working day schedule this Monday. Tomorrow, the average intervals will be the same as on a Saturday.
Today, all lines operated by the Metro will have a maximum fleet in circulation. On Tuesday, Line 1-Blue will have a fleet of one working day in operation and lines 2-Green, 3-Red and 15-Silver will have train offers similar to a Sunday. The operation of Lines 4-Yellow and 5-Lilac of subway and 8-Diamond of metropolitan trains will be similar to that of a Sunday day.
