Fuel reference prices fall 6.68% and "should be reflected" in the country, says Opecu

On Thursday, July 28, the Supervisory Agency for Investment in Energy and Mining () set the price bands for Liquefied Petroleum Gas intended for packaging (LPG-E), Liquefied Petroleum Gas intended for bulk (LPG-G), 84 octane gasohol, 90 and 84 octane gasoline.

That said, on Monday, September 19, the Supervisory Agency for Investment in Energy and Mining (Osinergmin) indicated that the reference prices of the main fuels broke their downward trend of more than 13 weeks and showed an increase of up to S/ 0.19 per gallon

The biggest increase of the week is registered in 97 octane gasoline, which rose S/ 0.19 from S/ 10.66 to S/ 10.85 per gallon. It was followed by 95 gasoline, which increased by S/ 0.18 to S/ 9.85. Meanwhile, 90 and 84 gasoline became more expensive by S/ 0.17 and S/ 0.14, respectively, reaching S/ 9.85 and S/ 8.63 each.

Facilito indicates that the price of a gallon of 84-octane gasoline fluctuates between S/ 16.99 and S/ 20 in the districts of the capital this Monday.

The lowest price is located in Pucusana and Villa El Salvador, where said fuel reaches S/ 16.99 per gallon. On the other hand, the highest price of S/ 20 is registered in La Victoria.

As for 90-octane gasoline, the price per gallon varies between S/ 16.44 and S/ 23.50 at the different taps in the capital. The district where the highest prices were registered is San Juan de Miraflores.

On the other hand, 95 octane gasoline has a price range that goes from S/ 17.68 in La Victoria to S/ 25.99 in Miraflores.

While 97 octane gasoline is between S/ 17.81 to S/ 27.

This Monday, the DB5 S-50 diesel (oil) is from S/ 16.94 to S/ 20.99 a gallon at the taps in the capital.

This Monday, automotive LPG costs between S/ 7.22 to S/ 12.05 a gallon at the capital’s taps.

In the districts of La Victoria, Breña, Punta Hermosa, Cercado de Lima are the most comfortable prices of S/ 7.22 and S/ 7.65.

While the most expensive prices are registered in Lurín and San Martín de Porres between S/ 11.99 to S/ 12.05.

The 10-kilogram gas balloon registers prices ranging from S/ 37.10 to S/ 67 in the districts of the capital this Monday.
