FIFA announced this Saturday (6) the time for the 2026 World Cup final. The team that will lift the 2026 World Cup will be announced at 4pm (Brasília time) on July 19th at the MetLife stadium in New Jersey, the same stage as Brazil’s debut in the competition on June 13th, at 7pm (Brasília time) against Morocco.
As leader of group C in the group stage, Brazil will face the second placed team in group F (Netherlands, Japan, Tunisia and the winner of the playoff between Ukraine, Sweden, Poland and Albania), on June 29, at the NRG stadium in Houston. Moving into second place in the group, Brazil, also on June 29, will face the leader of group F at the El Gigante de Acero stadium, in Monterrey (Mexico).
The path to the big decision of the 2026 World Cup will still include the second phase games (scheduled for the period from June 28th to July 3rd, 2026). The round of 16 will take place from July 4th to 7th, 2026; the quarterfinals, from July 9th to 11th; the semifinals, July 14th and 15th, and the third place match, on July 18th, at the Hard Rock Stadium (Miami).
