Machu Picchu is one of the favorite destinations for Peruvians and foreigners, however, the costs involved in visiting this attraction sometimes make travelers desist from visiting this important site.
Thus, recently, the Ministry of Culture approved promotional rates so that national visitors, foreigners residing in the country and citizens of the Andean Communitya, who will have a promotional rate for different times for access to the following circuits:
– Circuit 1 or Panoramic: Route 1-B: Upper terrace route (available all year), Route 1-C: Portada Intipunku Route and Route 1-D: Puente Inka Route (available only in high season).

REQUIREMENTS
To visit Machu Picchu, it is essential to present the national identity document, immigration card or physical passport that proves the condition of being Peruvianforeign resident or citizen of any of the countries of the Andean Community of Nations, as appropriate.
Additionally, for the student rate – undergraduate levelthe current physical higher education card issued by Sunedu must be presented, by the Ministry of Education (with personal data, photograph and expiration date) or by the foreign university or technical institution belonging to the member countries of the CAN.
The rate for minors includes between 3 and 17 years old at the time of the visit, and they must be accompanied by an older person, who is responsible for their care and safety. Children under 3 years of age have free entry.
