Colombia registers more than 3,000 cases of monkeypox
Colombian health authorities reported that to date 3,110 cases of monkeypox have been confirmed in that country and that, as in other nations, in Colombia the transmission of the disease has already begun to decrease.
99.3% of those have occurred in men between 18 and 48 years of age. Of the total infected, 80% have already recovered without complications, or subsequent sequelae and no deaths, according to official figures.
