Final Point Agreement advances in 84% of management

The Ministry of Health and Social Protection, hand in hand with the Presidency of the Republic, indicated that the End Point Agreement it has an advance of 84% since its implementation.

In this sense, with the coordination of the health portfolio and the Administrator of the Resources of the General System of Social Security in Health, Adres, the National Government has transferred $5.6 billion for the consolidation of debts in the contributory regime. In addition to that, they have delivered $494,000 million for the liquidation from Caprecom.

On the other hand, for the subsidized regime, for debts of the territorial entities, $1.3 billion have been recognized, of which the Nation has co-financed $859 billion and the territories paid, with their own resources, $442,000 million.

In addition to that, they have turned, around $500 billion for health of non-regularized migrants.

As a projection, the Government announced that additional transfers of $1.1 billion are scheduled to guarantee the financial sustainability of the health sector.

We are going to end up with more than $7 billion delivered to EPS, IPS and suppliers in Colombia”, said the Minister of Health, Fernando Ruiz, who also indicated that at this stage a system focused on timely care for citizens will be guaranteed.
