After three consecutive months we have reached the end of the Fashion Consultant course, teaching the third module on the scope of the Fashion Marketing.
All this distance and free training for readers has been possible through the Wednesday publications in the magazine Para Ellas de EL DEBER, with the support of our great ally Fergus and Raphaella Booz. And here we highlight the valuable contribution of professor Raquel Clouzet Jiménez, head of the Fashion Design and Management program at the Private University of Santa Cruz, Upsa.
Training new designers and entrepreneurs in fashion
Rachel Clouzet She shares that it has been a real pleasure to have taught the Para Ellas course, and a happy experience to have contact with so many readers who dream of their new ventures in the field of selling products in the fashion industry.
“We explored key topics such as brand positioning, communication strategies, trend analysis and consumer behavior. What motivated me most to participate as a teacher was the possibility of transmitting my passion for fashion and marketing to the new generations, helping them understand how to connect a brand with its audience in an authentic and memorable way. Throughout the course, we saw how the readers developed skills to create impactful campaigns, manage the image of fashion brands and take advantage of the power of social media to tell unique stories,” she said.
More readers looking to start new ventures
Many of the readers have applied the knowledge from the Fashion Marketing course to their own ventures. An example is Laura Teresa Gutierrez Miranda, who leads the Gumi venture, a new Bolivian brand dedicated to the creation of accessories and digital clothing for avatars, which can be used in different metaverses and virtual realities. These designs allow users of these spaces to express their style and personality through their avatars.
“A very important point in my venture is the target audience, due to the immense variety of users in the different online communities, and thus, market segmentation was important to develop a branding strategy to position myself as a reference in virtual fashion,” she commented.
Another participant, Nativity Oaks She followed the three modules of the Para Ellas course and commented that this year’s training has been very useful for her to apply in her underwear sales business. “This Fashion Consultant course has contributed enormously to seeking a change and modernizing my offers, giving me points that I had not considered before when promoting my sales, which has been very useful,” she said.
The final, in-person evaluation will be on Thursday, October 3
