The filmmaker graduated from the Louis Lumière School in Paris and even directed several advertising campaigns for television.

Directing a feature film, Breno made his debut in 2005 in the film Dois filho de Francisco, which tells the story of his childhood until the national success of the duo Zezé di Camargo and Luciano.
