Figueirense complicated the situation of Avaí in the Campeonato Catarinense. This Saturday (26), Alvinegro defeated their rival by 4 to 1 at Orlando Scarpelli, in Florianópolis, in a delayed duel of the eighth round of the State Championship.

Hurricane went to 14 points and occupies the sixth place of the tournament, in the classification zone to the quarterfinals, which involves the first eight. Leão da Ilha is in tenth, with nine points, one ahead of Joinville, which opens the relegation zone and plays on Sunday (27), at 16:00 (Brasília time), against Brusque, at the Joinville Arena.
The hosts took the lead ten minutes into the first half, with midfielder Oberdan, in a well-placed shot, from the edge of the area. At 31, midfielder Jhon Cley, with a header, extended it to Figueirense. Six minutes later, side Bruno Cortez took a corner and forward Muriqui took advantage of the deflection in the area to decrease the score.
The reaction outlined by Avaí ended there. In the 21st minute of the second half, striker Gustavo Henrique touched the exit of goalkeeper Douglas Friedrich, Cortez tried to push away and ended up sending it to their own nets. Midfielder Cleyton, in stoppage time, received from forward Andrew and closed the scoring.
In another game this Saturday, Hercílio Luz defeated Chapecoense 3-0 at the Aníbal Costa stadium, in Tubarão (SC), for the tenth round of Catarinense. The forwards Dentinho (twice) and Luan scored for the home team, which provisionally assumed the leadership of the State, with 21 points, one more than Brusque. Verdão do Oeste remains in fourth place, with 16 points, and could be overtaken if Concórdia wins the lantern Juventus on Sunday, at 18:30, at the Domingos Lima stadium, in Concórdia (SC).

Chapecoense plays at Arena Condá, in Chapecó (SC), against Marcílio Dias. Avaí receives Hercílio Luz at Ressacada, in Florianópolis.
