Fight in a bar in Guantánamo leaves several injured and damages the provincial hospital

A fight that started inside a bar in Guantánamo, and later spread to public roads and the provincial hospital, had to be controlled by security forces. Ministry of the Interior (Minint) early morning of Sunday, November 23.

According to the official note, this “alteration of order” began when “several citizens, some residents of Santiago de Cuba, and under the effects of the consumption of alcoholic beverages,” started a fight over “conflicts of a passionate nature” inside the Stockholm Bar, located in the city center.

The facility’s security forces intervened and expelled those involved, but the fight continued in the street, leaving several people injured.

The injured were taken in a private vehicle to the provincial hospital, reported the article published by the newspaper. we will win.

While receiving medical attention, “four citizens arrived at the health center aboard two motorcycles” with the apparent intention of resuming the altercation, the Minint indicated.

These people threw stones at the car that had taken the injured, causing damage to the rear windshield and two windows of the hospital access door.

The authorities assure that all those involved have been identified, who are being prosecuted “in accordance with the seriousness of the facts, the circumstances and the provisions of current legislation.”

The Minint reiterated its “firm rejection” of behaviors that affect citizen tranquility and the integrity of people and public property.
