This Monday the Police managed to find the lifeless body of Cristian Cruz Serna, 18 years old, the fifth person killed by residents from the Pucamayu community, located in the town of Corani Pampa, belonging to the Cochabamba municipality of Villa Tunari, Chapare province.

The body was buried face down in a mass grave two meters deep. His hands were tied and his head was covered. In addition, the body had injuries in different parts.

Cristian Cruz’s body was taken to the Forensic Research Institute (IDIF) in the city of Cochabamba to be processed. I performed a forensic examination to determine the causes of his death.

According to police investigations, Cristian Cruz He was buried alive in a plantation area of bananas from the community, after he tried to flee from the residents of Pucamayu, whom he defrauded with the sale of heavy caliber weapons.

The 18-year-old young man posed as a former soldier of the Bolivian Air Force (FAB) and charged Bs 27,800 for the sale of two weapons of war, which he never delivered and this would have been the reason why the murder of five people was triggered.

The other four victims are: Tadashi Loroña, Trinidad Muñoz, Auristela Loroña and Juan Carlos Román. They were all shot in the head. and were tortured before being executed, according to the report from the Forensic Research Institute (IDIF).

For his part, the director of the Anti-Crime Force (Felcc), Freddy Medinacelli, reported that Cristian Cruz Serna grew up in Pucamayuwhere his mother was a teacher, but then he fled the place because he was wanted for committing scams in surrounding communities.

“(The Mother) tells us that he would already have problems of this nature, that is to say that there were already extorted money from another community and they were already looking for him. “It’s been a year since I’ve been living with my mother,” said Medinacelli.
