FIFA (International Football Federation) announced this Saturday (7) the complete table for the first phase of the 2025 Club World Cup, a competition that will be played in the United States between June 14th and July 13th. And the first team from Brazil to take action in the tournament will be Palmeiras, who will face Porto (Portugal) from 7pm (Brasília time) on June 15th at MetLife Stadium, in New Jersey.
Botafogo, current champion of the Copa Libertadores, will have the Seattle Sounders (United States) as their initial opponent. The match will also be held on the 15th, but from 11pm at Lumen Field Stadium, in Seattle. A day later, it will be Flamengo’s turn to face Esperánce de Tunis (Tunisia), starting at 10pm at the Lincoln Financial Field Stadium, in Philadelphia. The last Brazilian to take action in the first phase is Fluminense, who will face Borussia Dortmund (Germany), starting at 1pm on June 17th at MetLife Stadium, in New Jersey.

After facing Porto, Palmeiras will face Al Ahly (Saudi Arabia), starting at 1 pm on June 19th at the MetLife Stadium, and Inter Miami (United States), on June 23rd starting at 10 pm at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami. Botafogo will not have an easy time in the last two commitments of the World Cup in the first phase, as they face PSG (France), starting at 10pm on June 19th, and Atlético de Madrid (Spain), starting at 4pm on the 23rd. of June. Both clashes will be hosted at the Rose Bowl Stadium in Los Angeles.
Flamengo’s second match in the competition will be against Chelsea (England), starting at 3pm on June 20th at the Lincoln Financial Field Stadium, in Philadelphia. And the third will be against León, four days later, starting at 10pm, at the Camping World Stadium, in Orlando.
On June 21st, Fluminense will meet Ulsan (South Korea) at MetLife Stadium at 7pm. And four days later it will be Tricolor das Laranjeiras’ turn to face off, starting at 4pm, against Mamelodi Sundowns (South Africa), at the Hard Rock Stadium.
