The Attorney General’s Office (FGR) reported on the destruction of 33 cars of the so-calleds “monsters” with artisanal armor that were insured in various confrontations in Tamaulipas and are related to 29 files; They were allegedly used by people belonging to criminal groups.
According to the FGR, this complied with the Program for the Destination of Assets and Objects of Crime, established in the National Code of Criminal Procedures, which contemplates the destruction of objects that are instruments of crime.
In the development of the proceedings, the FGR noted, there was the presence of the Federal Public Ministry (MPF)who coordinated the identification event and carried out the procedures; Likewise, official experts and staff of the Internal Control Body of the FGR, to verify that the procedure was carried out in the terms of the applicable standard.
There was also the presence of authorities from the Secretary of National Defense (Defense) and the State Guard, who secured and made said vehicles available to the MPF.
