The federal agency indicated that the expert opinion of the Morelos Prosecutor’s Office, which establishes “bronchial aspiration secondary to alcohol intoxication” as the cause of death, cannot be supported, due to the external and internal injuries of the victim, and the fact that that the chronology of the moment of death was not taken into account in all its magnitude.
The case of Ariadna Fernanda López
On November 9, the Mexico City Attorney General’s Office requested this institution to attract the investigation file corresponding to this case, in which there is a substantial difference between that Attorney General’s Office and that of the State of Morelos, in where Ariadna’s body was found lifeless, by the authorities of that State.
Both institutions submitted to the expert analysis of the Attorney General of the Republic, mainly on the cause of death of said person, sending this institution the information that was requested from both local Attorneys.
The National Center for Planning, Analysis and Information for the Fight against Crime (CENAPI) was also used to obtain the data they provided.
