FGEQRoo investigates the kidnapping of 8 Mayan workers by organized crime

Since Friday, the three government orders reinforced the search efforts to locate them “as soon as possible,” the Prosecutor’s Office reported through its official Twitter account, where it shared the technical file of the seven plagiarized people.

“The #FGEQuintanaRoo reports that there are already seven complaints received by the Public Ministry of missing persons in a property located in #Xcalac. The three government orders reinforced the search efforts to locate them as soon as possible, ”he tweeted.

The Prosecutor’s Office had reported three complaints, however this Friday night it indicated that there were already seven complaints received for the disappearance of the eight people.

In interview with RadioFormulathe state attorney general, Óscar Montes de Oca, commented that an operation was deployed to find the eight disappeared people who had been hired to take care of a ranch and pointed out that “it would probably be related to the drug cartel.”

“Eight people were kidnapped, it is the data we have, only seven complaints have been received,” confirmed the prosecutor.

According to the Quintana Roo State Attorney General’s Office, the seven complaints filed so far correspond to the same number of men between 19 and 46 years of age, all of them of Mexican nationality.

They are Edgar Medina Romero, 19 years old; José Ismael Dzu Chan, 20; David Azael Pool Poot; from 22; Flavio César Roblero García, 24; Heber Crecencio Landeros Vidal, 40; Moisés Nicolás Cuervo, 41, and José Luis Villalpando, 46.
