Fewer workers withdraw money from their Afore due to unemployment

So far this year, 21,092 million pesos have been withdrawn for this concept.

Afore unemployment withdrawals jumped since 2020, when the pandemic left more than a million people without formal employment.

Last November, Mexicans withdrew 2,048.4 million pesos, 8.2% more than in the same month of 2021. The Afores that register the highest amount of withdrawn resources are Afore Coppel, Azteca and XXI Banorte.
