Upon locating that the smell came from one of the laboratories, one of the workers turned on the switch in the classroom, at which time the explosion that caused a fire was recorded.
Elements of the Heroic Fire Department went to the FES Zaragoza to put out the flames that caused the explosion and paramedics treated the three employees who were injured.
Workers aged 39, 47 and 49, identified as Carlos “N”, Rafael “N” and Miguel Ángel “N”, who were transferred to the ISSSTE Ignacio Zaragoza Regional Hospital to receive medical attention; one of them had burns on 80% of his body.
