The Minister of Territorial Development and Habitat, Jorge Ferraressi, assured on Wednesday that the National Government has a project “to facilitate access to housing” in each province and considered it “one of the pillars for the recovery” of the country.
In statements made from the Casa Rosada to channels 5 of San Juan, 7 of Mendoza and Chaco TV, the official ratified President Alberto Fernández’s decision to “resolve a structural issue in Argentina such as housing” and “let it become a right“.
Ferraresi explained that “within the framework of neoliberal projects that have governed Argentina, the housing policy had been paralyzed and was not on the agenda.”
“On the contrary, we have a path outlined by President Alberto Fernández that, for the first time in history of the Argentine Republic, has a ministry that deals with habitat” and that “has a national project to facilitate access to housing“, he claimed.
“Our obligation is to work on development, address all issues to, based on public investment, generate increase and the rootingas our president asks us and that is why it is important to work with the provinces,” he stressed.
He stressed the need to “trust that the Argentina will recoverand even faster after the agreement that will take place in the coming days”, and referred to the “foreign debt generated by the previous government, with a flight of capital that deserves to be investigated and to find those responsible for this situation” .
In the province of San Juan we have already handed over 3,300 homes, we have handed out credits #Own house and we project two Urban Developments (one tendered and another in execution). We discussed these issues with @canal5telesol. #ReconstructionArgentina⬆️ https://t.co/jES5PMcmmL

He also argued that “housing policy is one of the pillars of that recovery” and recalled that “in San Juan we have more than 3,300 homes in execution and we are planning to add another 2,700 more to deliver next year”.
Regarding the Procrear program, he pointed out that, in the case of San Juan, there is “one that has started construction and another about to put out to tender” and anticipated that “close to the completion of construction” there will be a call for “a universal registration that derives In a draw”.
The award is made with “certain schemes, where, for example, female heads of households play a very important rolethe former Falklands fighters have priorities“and there is a”disability quota“he clarified.
Asked about the installments of the Procrear program, Ferraresi recalled that “all the Procrear that were made through the Banco Hipotecario left the UVA system and we passed them to the HOME systemwhich has a coefficient adjusted by the Salary Variation Coefficient”.
“But seeing the behavior of the index, the President asked us to create another formula that today is called Own house and that adjusts its fee by multiplying the Salary Variation Coefficient by 0.9″, so that “this index is even less than the rate of salary increase” and thus “does not generate a loss of quality of life in the policy holder credit“.
In addition, it announced the construction of two new Procrear complexes for mendozawhich will be located in the capital city and in Guaymallén.
He pointed out that this week part of his team from the ministry has already worked in Mendoza “so that the National Government and the municipalities put together the designs, the ordinance comes out and the transfer of land is carried out” in order to start with the execution of houses “before the end of the year“.
In the case of Chacothe minister remarked that the province “has very good planning regarding the redevelopment of neighborhoods” and that all social sectors “are involved in the programs that the Ministry has and that the province applies effectively and efficiently.”
“In the province we are generating more than 1,500 homes in urban developments, we deliver more than 1,200 zero-rate loans, and there are more than 2,000 residents of the province who are building a value totally different from that of the market,” he pointed out.
“That implies that we are going to generate Urban groundmore than 1300 lots that will be raffled with zero rate loans They show us that we are going to start changing the reality in Argentina,” he stressed.
