“What was important regarding the collaboration of the Odebrecht company as a company was the delivery of information on documents, of everything that the company could report in reference to the money that, as a company, it would have used to pay alleged bribes,” he said in La Voz del 21, an exclusive program on Perú21TV.
The specialist pointed out that, although the information provided by the Odebrecht company is important, it is not the only source taken into account.
“In the Lava Jato cases, the presence or testimony of all or some witnesses linked to the Odebrecht company is not necessarily important. They are not the only source of evidence, you can also have information from the comptroller’s office, experts or national companies,” he added.
Silva said that the cases will not be dropped, but that the decision of the Brazilian justice system will have an impact on the investigations that are being carried out on Peruvian soil.
