Fernando Lugo will continue to be on the list for the Senate of the Guasu Front

Jorge Querey, a national senator for the Guasu Front, told 730 AM that Fernando Lugo is improving and is quite stable. He explained that the difficulty they had was the slowness with which they are removing the respirator.

“In the neurological part there are important advances, he reacts to his environment. There are very positive signs. He is improving rapidly. His name will remain on the list until December without a doubt », he expressed in relation to whether he will continue to be part of the list of candidates for the Senate for said party that brings together progressive movements.

Fernando Lugo was elected President of the Republic in 2008, but a little more than a year before his term ended, he was impeached by Congress in 2012. In 2013, he was elected senator for the first time and achieved his re-election in 2018. On August 10 he suffered a Cerebrovascular Accident (CVA) that keeps him in a delicate state of health until today.
