The actor was arrested by the Manizales Police after being reported for a case of alleged domestic violence, according to local media.

Fernando Arango Villegasknown for his role in the series Escobar, el Patrón del Mal, was arrested for an alleged case of domestic violence, reported the newspaper La Patria.

Authorities received a call for a woman who allegedly suffered a blow to one of her eyelids in the Campohermoso neighborhood of Manizales (Caldas). According to the aforementioned media, the actor would be responsible for having caused the injury to the face of his partner.

“The injury caused his eyes to close”details the news report on the consequences of the blow suffered, apparently, by the actor who has had different roles on national television, one well remembered by viewers in ‘Escobar, el Patrón del Mal’.

According to the authorities’ report, known by RCN Radio, the actor arrived home drunk and, in the middle of an argument over having supposedly urinated in the closet, the attack occurred.

Before he was hit in the face, his wife confronted him about his behavior. The woman managed to escape and call for help for what happened at around 1:25 in the morning.

It should be noted that in Colombia the crime of domestic violence carries penalties ranging from 4 to 8 years in prison.

Regarding the actor’s legal future, it is still unknown what decision a judge will make against him.
