President Alberto Fernández will lead acts this Tuesday in the Buenos Aires town of Florencio Varela and in the Casa Rosada Bicentennial Museum, and will participate in the dinner of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (Celac)-European Union (EU), in the Kirchner Cultural Center (CCK), official sources reported.
The first activity will be at 12, when Fernández leads, together with the head of the Bank of the Argentine Nation (BNA), Silvina Batakis; and the mayor of Florencio Varela, Andrés Watson, of the inauguration of the 1st SME Expo: BNA Conectain the Industrial Park of that locality.
At 4:00 p.m., the President will lead at the Bicentennial Museum the delivery ceremony of the replica of the Mural “Portrait of characters: Gabriela Mistral and Berta Singerman” the Mexican artist Roberto Montenegro, together with the Minister of Culture, Tristán Bauer; the Secretary of Culture of Mexico, Alejandra Frausto; the senator of that country, Héctor Vasconcelos; and the writer Beatriz Gutiérrez Müller.
At 20 Fernández will participate, along with Foreign Minister Santiago Cafiero; the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Josep Borrell; and ambassadors from Latin America and the EU, of the CELAC-EU dinner, at the CCK.
Previously, Cafiero will hold a working meeting at 8:30 with his Spanish counterpart José Manuel Albares.
At 9 o’clock, he will chair the dialogue between foreign ministers and high authorities in the framework of the 39th session of the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC), at the CCK.
At 3:00 p.m., the Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Trade and Worship will lead the meeting of foreign ministers of CELAC, at the Palacio San Martín.
Meanwhile, the Minister of Defense, Jorge Taiana, will give a keynote address at 9:30 a.m., within the framework of the VIII International Conference on Ibero-American Exile organized by the Research Center on Latin America and the Caribbean of the National Autonomous University of Mexico ( UNAM) and the Latin American Council of Social Sciences (Clacso).
At 11:30 am, the head of the Defense portfolio will visit the Tandanor shipyard, on the south coast of Buenos Aires, together with senators.
And at 6:00 p.m., Taiana, Bauer and the Minister of Environment and Sustainable Development, Juan Cabandié; will attend the concert “Grandmothers 45 years. The search continues” and the act in commemoration of the 45 years of uninterrupted struggle of the Grandmothers of Plaza de Mayo, in the CCK.
