President Alberto Fernández celebrated the victory over Poland by 2-0 and the pass to the round of 16 of the World Cup in Qatar 2022 with a post on their networks where they congratulated and thanked the team and the coaching staff headed by Lionel Scaloni.
“Let’s go Argentina,” Fernández wrote on his Twitter account, and completed his message with a photograph of the players celebrating on the playing field.
On Instagram, the head of state expanded his messages, posting “Congratulations and thanks!” and remarked that “this team and its coaching staff, with their talent and generosity, gave us another enormous joy”, to close with the hashtag #VamosArgentina.
Fernández accompanied the publication with a photograph in the Quinta de Olivos together with the first lady Fabiola Yañez; their son, Francisco -all wearing the Argentine shirt- and the dog Dylan; and another image of the baby with a doll also dressed in the national jacket.
Argentina defeated Poland 2-0 this afternoon at Stadium 974 in Doha, with goals from Alexis MacAllister and Julián Álvarez, with which they qualified in first place in Group C and on Saturday at 4:00 p.m. they will face Australia for the round of 16 final.
