President Alberto Fernández affirmed this Sunday that “he is not going to do anything to break the Frente de Todos” and assured that in the ruling coalition “there is a clear vocation for it not to break” and that “unity is a necessary condition ” so that he can be “faced to the right”.
“We can have differences, but it is an issue that we will know how to solve: I am sure that nobody wants to break anything. There is a clear vocation that this does not break. I see an insidious task of breaking us, ‘that Alberto said such a thing, that Cristina said such a thing’but my concern is that now that the noose has been removed from my neck (from the IMF) we have to start walking,” he said in an interview he gave on Public TV.
consulted on the internal ones in the Front of All after the agreement with the IMF, explained that they are “debates” that are imposed from “the media” and that in reality people are “more concerned” about “how the problems of inflation, the price of rents and economic problems are resolved.”
“As long as I am president, I am going to support Aerolineas Argentinas as much as I have to support it.” @alferdez spoke about Mauricio Macri’s statements about his idea of privatizing the flag carrier.#AlbertoEnDesiguales | https://t.co/fnEKkuadQ9 pic.twitter.com/MZ3YoMnjFz

“One has to face a decision that does not satisfy everyone”, acknowledged on his role as President.
He expressed that “Argentines” voted for him “so that he decides” and that although “some like it more, others less” the debt problem “is already resolved, it’s finished.” He also assured that “no one” in the Frente de Todos “wanted a default with the Fund.”
“We have to continue because Argentina continues to have problems, we have postponed the default,” he argued, and said that his wish is to reach 2023 with “an Argentina that can project a future.”
In addition, the head of state pointed out that “She totally shares the idea” that Vice President Cristina Kirchner had pronounced in the 2019 campaign when “she spoke of a new social contract” and that it is necessary to “know how to live with the different views” that exist within the FdT.
Along the same lines, he stressed that “the unity” of the political space he heads “is a necessary condition” so that he can “stand up to the right.”
