Fernández calls for a “deeper investigation” into the assassination attempt against Cristina Kirchner

President Alberto Fernández once again asked the Judiciary, during the Legislative Assembly, to “deepen” the investigation into the assassination attempt on Vice President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner, which occurred on September 1, and demanded that it act “with the same rush to file” cases in which judges, prosecutors or businessmen “appear as accused”.
“Six months ago we were faced with one of the most unfortunate episodes experienced in these 40 years, as was the attempted assassination of our Vice President of the Nation Cristina Fernández de Kirchner,” warned President Fernández in his speech before the senators and deputies of Congress , in it start of ordinary sessions.
In tune, he expressed: “In front of all of you, I once again demand that Justice deepen the investigation of that fact; and that it judge and condemn those who were the intellectual and material authors of this attempted murder.”
In this context, he demanded that, in this file, they act “with the same haste with which they file cases in which judges, prosecutors or powerful businessmen appear as defendants.”
