The chief economist of the Economic Project Foundation, Fernanda Vallejos, demanded that the International Monetary Fund (IMF) “compensate Argentina for the damage caused”, after knowing the internal report called Ex Post Evaluation, where the agency recognized the shortcomings of the program credit granted to the government of Mauricio Macri.
“These gentlemen of the IMF, no ex post report, as they always do after each scam, absolves them of their co-responsibility. We do not want reports that say what we know from the moment it happened while they did not do what their statute requires to prevent it, ”Vallejos said in a statement.

The referent of the Soberanxs group and the Frente de Todos remarked that “what the Argentine people want is justice”, and considered that the IMF should grant “reduction of capital, terms, rates, depending on what an audit establishes that effectively it corresponds to pay ”.
“And that the body responds, according to international law, to the ICJ (International Court of Justice) and compensates us for the damage caused,” said the economist.
